The long-awaited part 2
Ok, so I gave up on this blog for a while, so a quick catch up is in order. I'll spare you the long-winded stories, and just post up a load of pics.
Suffice to say the trip to Ireland was pretty awesome, starting with a twitched pallid harrier, then a flurry of co-found yanks, including 8!! semi-p's, a spotted sand, buff-breast, american golden plover, as well as some great fillers, like red-necked phal,sab's gull and a couple of yellow-browed warblers. There really is no place like Ireland in September when the depressions are racing across the Atlantic, and on this trip, Achill island and the Mayo coast came up trumps.
